"Isshin Densetsu - Legendary Restoration"

by Seiya

OK, first of all, I know the pen name is pretty damn presumptuous of me. But everyone calls me Seiya, so it’s what I go by. I’m not claiming to be Seiya Kou or anything of the sort. Plus all the usual disclaimers: Sailor Moon et all belongs to Naoko Takeuchi , et cetera et cetera. I’m just borrowing her characters for a bit. I also want to thank my Beta reader, CW, and my fellow "Kinmokuans" (Steph and Amie) for their love and support.

The story, as you can gather from the title, is about the Restoration of Kinmoku. It is a sad story, harsh at times, filled with melancholy. But, most of all, it is a story of hope. I don’t know where it is going. I write bits and pieces, then attempt to string it all together. I can tell you that there will be, very likely, a very strong Seiya/Yaten overtone to it – because, right or wrong, I think that pairing makes sense. No guarantees, mind you, because I’ve not completed it yet. But most of all, I want to expand on the relationship between the Starlights, their Princess and their people. I want to give them a past, but most of all, I want to give them a future.

No character assassination will be involved. There will be some new tricks from our old friends, and some explanations of who they are and where they came from. I’ll be taking some liberties here and there, but mostly of the creative sort. I hope to explain why they are the way they are and why they acted the way they did while on Earth.

Remember what Fighter says to Mars in Episode 176: "You will never know the pain of the survivors." This is essential in understanding the Starlights’ true characters.

I’ve kept away from the Japanese in this story, because, while on Kinmoku, they would be speaking their native language – whatever that is. They may very well have honorifics and suchlike, but I’m not going into that here. I know how to, I just think that it would be out of place here. Oh – and Odango isn’t an honorific; it’s a nickname.

I think that pretty much covers it. If you have any questions, go right ahead and Email me.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy!
