Auditions
Read through ALL of the rules before considering an application. If we have a beef with you in any of the listed rules below, you better believe we are going to pull our founder status with and remind you that it was stated clearly in the rules before you applied.
Rules
1) All costumes, wigs, props, and accessories for this group must be made either by yourself or another cast member. No commissioned costumes allowed. (Help from your family is perfectly fine!) The costume may also be made by another group member as long as the other group member has agreed to this.
2) We'll be performing as a group at a certain number of conventions a year. You must be able to attend all group performances. (This does not include cosplay events. Those are on a voluntary basis.)
3) You must provide photo updates of your progress on your costume via the internet, so make sure you have a camera and reliable internet access. (Or if you are doing a costume for another member, then the person doing the sewing must provide the updates.) **Costumes must be done THREE WEEKS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED EVENT***.
4) You must have access to a computer-based recording device. (Most computers come with them now a days.) You will be required to send in recordings of you singing your part on a regular basis.
5) You are more than welcome to participate with other cosplay groups, but please do not compete with other cosplay groups using costumes made for this group without permission from Seiya or Yaten. (Just check with us first.) Hall cosplay is fine, even encouraged.
6) You must be 18 or older to join. We will not be responsible for minors at conventions.
7) While we understand people have other things in their life, if you have other obligations that may conflict with being a part of our group, we ask that you please DO NOT apply. This is not just a cosplay group, but a performance group. You will be responsible not only for your costume, but for your vocals and your choreography. If you don't think you can keep up, don't apply.
8) You must be able to keep in regular contact with the group (meaning weekly). If you disappear without prior warning and we are unable to contact you, your role may be forfeit.
9) All posts in the Livejournal made by Cast Members in regards to group discussion must be made as Friends Only. Any posts that do not meet this guideline will be deleted.
10) Please do not discuss Last Chance business outside of the group. While it's no secret what we're doing (Sera Myu, duh!), we'd like for it to be a bit of a surprise when people come see our show.
11) In that vein, please do not post pictures of your costume anywhere on the 'net before the debut date without permission. (After the debut date, spam away!) Again, it's no secret what we're doing. But PR is important. I don't want to flood the 'net with pictures of our costumes.
12) 10% of life is what happens to you, 90% is how you react. There are many occasions where the founders will be emailing you with their concerns, critiques, criticisms, and even nagging. You must understand before going into this that when recieving these emails we aren't attacking you but merely have the good of the group in mind. If you are going to take these emails personally then this group is not for you.
13) If you read through each and every one of these rules, you will place a code in the applicaton of your audition to us. This code will change periodically and will always be the last word on this page. When using this in your application, it is like signing a contract with us and you're STATING that you read and understood it. That way if you come back to us saying "Well I didn't know" we can say otherwise.
The rules can be changed, added, or amended at any time, just be aware.
Please look below for open characters before putting in your audition. If there are no open characters, we are always looking for people who would like to help us out during stage shows. (Refered to as stage ninjas. XD) The application page will appear when there is an opening, if there isn't an opening and you would like to be a stage ninja, please just contact one of us. Thanks!
Closed.
Fire, fire, fire...
